The need of the day is to provide good healthy food products which are free of harmful toxins, and to have a process of farming that is ecologically sustainable and one that involves integrated farming with in house dairy & goat farm animal manures and crop rotation for increased fertility, & using natural pesticides like neem oil etc & net house farming techniques for control of pests and crop diseases.

For the purpose of producing naturally grown produce, we as Organic farmers have not left our farm to be taken over by nature. We use all the knowledge, techniques and materials available to work with nature. In this way we create a healthy balance between nature and farming, where crops and animals can grow and thrive.

Our natural and Integrated Organic farming also involves a good use of animal husbandry, as we have Holstein Friesian for A1 Cow Milk and 'Desi' Sahiwal cows for A2 Cow Milk, Goats & free range chickens at our farm as well. For the dairy farming & goats, we provide Organic naturally grown fodder to the livestock grown at the farm itself, & it is our effort to keep the greens of the livestock completely toxin free, with a very careful watch on the vetenary inputs as well, so that for treatment of normally occurring ailments, more than necessary medicines and chemicals are not given to the livestock. This further greatly improves the quality of milk.Mrs. Kiran Gill, daughter in law of Mr. Sukhchain S Gill has also completed a course on Dairy Farming conducted by the Punjab Dairy Development board in the year 2014 under the Women Empowerment Scheme at Dairy Training & Extension Centre at Chatamli.

In order to be a successful in our organic farming efforts, we don't see every insect as a pest, every plant out of place as a weed and the solution to every problem in an artificial chemical spray. The aim is not to eradicate all pests and weeds, but to keep them down to an acceptable level and make the most of the benefits that they may provide. We also use various combined techniques of natural farming. At our farm, each technique is not normally used on its own. We use the method of integrated farming where many disciplines of farming are practiced at the same time & allow them to work together for the maximum benefit, as each is complimentary to the other. For example the dairy & goats provide the fields with manure & in turn the fields provide organic fodder for them & therefore both activities benefit from each other. This way we grow wheat (C 306), wheat, Basmati Rice, Pulses (like various dal's, Chana etc.) & Fresh seasonal Vegetables. We also have a multi fruit Orchard at our farm.

We are certified Organic by SGS India limited, through the Punjab Agri-Export Corporation, which is the nodal agency for Organic Certification by Government of Punjab. Our Farm has also been judged amongst the top 10 national finalists for the most outstanding Organic Farm in India for the 'Dharti Mitr' award on the event of the World Organic Congress in November 2017.

We have also had the honour of the visit of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales to our farm in October 2010, to see and appreciate our organic farming activity, and we also have had many distinguished visitors to our farm including the hon'ble Chief Minister Punjab, The Minsiter of Agriculture, Govt. of Maharashtra amongst many other distinguished guests. We get routine visits from various schools, colleges and other educational institutions, who bring their students to our farm for a hands on experience of the ways and methods of integrated organic farming.

We have also started with Eco-Tourism for Farm Stays at our farm, for guests to stay with us in comfortable double occupancy suites, & experience life at a working Organic farm. Fresh, home made organic meals are also provided to guests made from the home grown produce.

For Farm Stay we have also tied up with Hyatt Centric Sector 17 Chandigarh as one of the countryside farm experiences offered by the hotel to their guests.
